Castra Rubra – wine inspiration and million dollar vineyard

If you try to put in a word all that people from Castra Rubra have gone through, this will be test.  Test for endurance, which has also become an inspiration for the whole team.

Our vineyards terrain has been chosen by Michelle Rolland himself, who has been our consultant ever since we began, and it is still one of the finest vineyards in the country. Where there used to be a neglected almond grove, for almost 15 years now, have been bearing fruit vines from the exclusive French varieties - Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Pinot Noir, Alicante Boucher, Petit Verdot, Syrah, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and etc.

Our wines are among the most recognizable on the market with a constant quality remarkable for their price. You can best feel the difference when you taste the final outcome in your wine glass, as the truth is always to be found at the bottom of the bottle.

To put it simply, winemakers who put their hearts in their vineyards, make character wines. Such wines, experts say, are recognizable.
